Macie Dominique, M.A., Ed.S., LPCC

Welcome! I’m Macie. I’m so excited to be on this journey with you.

I earned my B.S. in Psychology from Tulane University. I then studied school psychology at the University of Denver. I worked in schools for several years before deciding to pursue a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adams State University. I have also received an Equine-Assisted Mental Health Certificate through the IHAC program at DU and I am receiving continuing education in animal-assisted therapy through the Animal-Assisted Therapy Programs of Colorado. I have been trained in EMDR and I am so excited to combine this knowledge with my animal experience!

I enjoy working with women experiencing relationship and dating issues, trauma, attachment & relationship trauma, depression, anxiety, and those looking to improve their self-esteem and sense of identity.

It has been my dream to merge my passion for animals with my love of mental health work and I look forward to sharing the beautiful human-animal bond with you!
